I’ve got a quick question about the Niro EV. How does the Niro EV handle climate control when you're preheating? Does it run off the battery, or does it grab power from the charger? I’m on a Level 1 charger right now, and I’m a bit worried it might be draining the battery or not. Anyone got the scoop on this? Thanks!

Yeah it still works, but it uses both the battery pack and the wall outlet. If left plugged into a Level 1 EVSE, it will continue to charge the battery pack. When you use remote climate control, the car will start, check for an EVSE connection, and use it for power if one is available. If the incoming power is insufficient, the car will draw power from the battery pack. After the remote session is complete, the EVSE will remain connected to recharge the battery pack as needed.

One of the best explanations! Good job. It also helped me understand more. You got a good answer here @BigMike915.
