Resetting a Used Kia Niro EV

Just grabbed a used 2020 Niro EV and I'm about to hit that factory reset button to clear out the previous owner's deets (wish the dealer had thought of that!).

Before I proceed, I’d like to make sure there are no potential drawbacks or unexpected consequences. Will a factory reset mess with the car's software or any of its features in any way?

You are good to go...a factory reset won't impact software updates or features like your key; it will simply remove the previous owner's data from the infotainment system.

A factory reset is a standard "solution" for many things in this EV space, haha, so don't worry.
