Confused about the Niro EV's torque specs? Same here! Kia claims it's only 188 lb-ft, but that seems way off for an electric motor. Especially considering the Kona EV, which shares the same powertrain, is rated at 289 lb-ft. Did previous Niro EV models have different torque numbers?

Your data on the Niro's torque is accurate, but I believe the information on the Kona EV is incorrect.
