My Niro EV is acting up! I've been using the same outlet forever, but now it only charges for 40 seconds before stopping. The car shows a blue light and that's it. Tried different outlets, no luck. Anyone else had this issue?

Having the same problem. I suspect it's due to a loose connection. For the time being, lowering the charger amperage to 35 has kept it stable. To monitor my car's systems, I got a Veepeak OBDCeck BLE+ OBD-II adapter and the Car Scanner app. I began to notice that the VCMS AC Inlet temperature rises quickly during faster charging and gradually decreases when the speed is reduced. I've read that charging stops if the temperature rises to 100°C for a short period of time. I'm still not quite sure if that's the issue.

I hate to say it, but I'm starting to think it might be the Integrated Charge Control Unit (ICCU) in the car.

I came across a thread on another forum last year about an EV6 owner who experienced the exact same charging issues I'm having. Their car was only a year old, which really surprised me. It made me realize that these ICCU units can actually fail.

To be honest, I think my car might have come with a faulty one from the factory. It's been a real headache.
