So my Niro EV’s been throwing this "Check EV System" error after I juice it up to 100%. Pretty sure it’s got something to do with the 12V battery, but I’m not exactly a car whisperer here. I’ve kinda been dodging the problem by draining the battery, but now I’m freakin’ out that there might be something worse going on. Anybody else had this headache before? I’m all ears for any advice or just some moral support.

Got a good 12v battery on hand? Give it a try. It could save you a trip to the dealer. I had to deal with annoying stuff like the "check EV system" alert, and it turned out my 12v battery was the culprit. When it died, the dealer said it had a 24-month warranty, so yours might still be covered too. Worth checking!
