I’m looking to add a hitch to my Niro EV so I can haul my boat, but I’ve heard the wiring harness might be a tricky beast. Anyone here tackled this before? Any tips on where to get it installed or if it’s doable as a DIY project? Thanks a bunch!

If you need a hitch installed, I'd recommend checking out U-Haul. They do a pretty good job.

It can tow, sure, but don't expect to be hauling anything heavy. The towing capacity is pretty low, and the North American models aren't even officially rated for it. A trailer hitch is mostly good for things like bike racks or maybe a small cargo carrier.

Basically, the Niro is more of a daily driver than a towing machine.
