Dashboard Compatibility for Dash Cover on Niro EV

I’ve got a 2020 Niro EV and am thinking about getting a dash cover to protect it. Does anyone know if the dashboard on the EV is the same as the gas-powered Niro? I found a dash cover that’s made for the gas model, but I’m not sure if it’ll fit the EV version.

Has anyone else tried this, or does anyone know if the dashboards are identical across both models? Getting a custom detailed one is a bit out of the range for now.

From what I’ve seen online, the dashboards in the EV and gas versions are very similar, so probably dash covers should be interchangeable. If you’re unsure, you might want to reach out to the seller to confirm fitment, or even check if any reviews mention using it on the EV model. A lot of owners have found gas-model accessories fit just fine in the EV, so it’s probably worth trying! If the one you found is a good price, it might be worth giving it a shot, worst case, you can return it if it doesn’t fit perfectly. ✌

Is there any specific reason why you want to get a dash cover?

Maybe you could protect your dash with ceramic tint and protectant. I personally don't like the look of covers.

Kia tries to keep dashboards similar within a model line to save money but there might be small differences. You need to contact your dealer to get correct size, you don't want to buy one that doesn;t fit.
