I had an Indra charger installed a couple of days ago, and everything seemed fine, until this morning. The charge plug wouldn’t release because the car was still charging, even after reaching the target percentage.
I set the Indra app to finish charging by 6 AM and set a target charge percentage in the Kia app.
By 6 AM, the battery was at the correct charge level, but it was still trickle charging at 1 kW.
Tried using the Kia app to stop charging, but it kept saying “cannot stop charging, please check your vehicle status.”
Only way to release the plug was to power down the Indra charger, which isn’t ideal.
Has anyone else had this issue? Why does the car keep charging even after hitting its target? And why doesn’t the stop charging button work in the Kia app?
