My e-Niro keeps randomly dying on me! Twice now, after driving in wet conditions, the car won't start and throws a "Check EV System" error. A breakdown guy magically fixed it the first time by plugging in an OBD scanner, but now it's happening again and nothing is working. Dealer appointments are weeks out, and I'm worried about what they'll find. Any ideas on what might be causing it? Thanks!

In the US, a lot of auto parts stores will test your car battery for free. The same goes for places that sell batteries.

Using jumper cables will probably get your car started, but it won't fix the problem unless the battery just needs a good charge. You can either charge it by driving around or using a battery charger.

Of course, you can always take it to the dealership too.
