Niro EV HDA vs. HDA 2

Looking at the HDA and HDA 2 features, wondering if either one allows for completely hands-free driving? Or do you still need to keep your hands on the wheel every now and then?

Both of them don't have hands-free driving. Both require the driver to maintain contact with the steering wheel by applying pressure at least every two minutes, or more frequently if the vehicle detects a need for more attention.

I think HDA is supposed to slow you down if you're going too fast, and NSCC-C is for those curvy roads. I have the curve thing turned on, but I'm not sure about HDA. It's sometimes slowed me down on really sharp corners, but I haven't noticed it slowing me down for speeding.

That "auto" light turns green when it kicks in. I'll have to check if I even have HDA turned on. Maybe it's off.

My 2021 Niro has HDA or HDA1, and while the lane keeping is okay, it's not as good as Tesla's. It feels a bit jerky, and I don't always trust it to stay centered. I'm curious if HDA2 is a noticeable upgrade.
