Just got my hands on a new Niro EV and I’m beyond frustrated - it's only showing 226 miles on a full charge when it’s supposed to be at 285. I’ve turned off all the fans and electronics and even double-checked that the battery’s at 100% in the settings. This is seriously driving me up the wall. What on earth could be going wrong? Anyone got a clue or am I just stuck with this crap?

I think it depends on your driving efficiency. To ensure accurate calculations, reset the efficiency readout after each charge. When I drive consistently, I find the GOM to be reliable. I have nothing against the Niro, range wise.

My son had his car since 2021, and he haven't noticed any drop in range at all, even though he put on over 28,000 miles. He mostly drive in Eco mode, but it doesn't feel any slower. He live in San Diego, so he don't have to worry about cold weather affecting the range. He usually get around 260 to 295 miles per charge.
