Niro EV Rear Door Won't Lock

Ugh, my Niro EV's rear right door has gone rogue and refuses to lock! No matter if I use the button, key, or app, it’s like that door’s just decided it’s living its best unlocked life. All the other doors lock up just fine, but that one? Nope. It shuts perfectly, just won’t lock. Anyone else had this issue? Got any tips or tricks to fix it? I’m seriously about to lose it!

I had the same issue with my 2018 Niro. The dealer replaced the door handle under warranty, which resolved the issue.

I know someone who had a similar problem with his Niro EV. He had to repair it since it turned out that the actuator was jammed. He first tried a soft reset, but it didnt work. Once the part was replaced, it operated flawlessly. It might be worthwhile to try..

I'm wondering if it's the fob's reception. Does it start working if you take the fob out of your pocket?
