My wife and I I've got a Niro EV and we want to add a roof rack, but there's no obvious rails like on most cars. We've heard there might be mounting points hidden under that sleek roofline.

Has anyone figured out how to install a roof rack on their Niro EV? Any tips or recommendations on aftermarket options would be greatly appreciated!

If you’re looking to install a roof rack on your Niro EV, both Yakima and Thule are great options to consider. Both brands are well-known for their high-quality, durable roof racks that fit a wide range of vehicles.

I highly recommend reviewing EV-olution video, This will provide you with detailed information about installing ev roof. I hope it helps!

Before installing a roof rack, double-check the roof weight capacity in the owner’s manual! EVs sometimes have lower roof load ratings due to aerodynamics and efficiency concerns. The Niro EV has hidden mounting points, so you can install a proper system from brands like Yakima, Thule, or Rhino-Rack. Just be sure to use the correct fit kit, since not all universal racks will work on the Niro’s roofline.

Yes, the Niro EV has hidden mounting points under the roofline, though they aren’t as visible or obvious as traditional roof rails. Several companies offer roof rack solutions for the Niro EV that work with these hidden mounting points. Yakima and Thule are some options to consider
