I’ve been setting up scheduled charging on my E-Niro using my home charger’s app (charging settings on the car are disabled except for an 85% charge limit). The schedule is set for 12:30 AM to align with my cheaper electricity rates and should run for four hours.
However, out of four attempts, two have failed, and I’m trying to figure out why.
The failed charge happened when I plugged in at 6 PM, which means a 6.5-hour delay before charging was scheduled to start.
I tested an immediate manual charge after the failure, and it worked fine.
I don’t recall if on the successful charges I plugged in later (like 9–10 PM), which might make a difference.
Could the E-Niro have a sleep mode that prevents it from recognizing the scheduled charge if plugged in too early? Has anyone else experienced this issue or found a workaround?
