Charging Noise - Normal or Nah?

So I've got a Niro EV, and there's this strange hissing noise coming from under the hood whenever I'm charging it. It's more pronounced on Level 2, but I can still hear it on Level 1. Didn't notice this at all when I first got the car, so I'm kinda freaking out. Is this just a normal EV charging noise, or should I be worried that my car’s about to turn into a hissing pressure cooker? Got any tips or advice? Thanks a ton!

Before you charge your ride, pop the hood, wait 'til nightfall, plug in, and let it juice up while keeping an eye out for sparks. If you spot anything weird, like funky smells or strange noises, unplug ASAP. Take note where the issue happened if you can, and head straight to the dealership for a little help. Stay safe!

It’s likely just the cooling system managing battery temperature during charging. EVs can make these noises, especially on Level 2. If it’s persistent or concerning, get it checked!
