The V2L connector was included with my '24 Niro EV Wave, so I tested it before the winter storms arrived. After some filing and silicone lubrication, the extension cable plug's shell was almost impossible to open without large pliers, but now it's simple to use. The 120V, 15A power output of the V2L is sufficient for a toaster or refrigerator, but not both at once. I demonstrated the arrangement to my spouse, and it functions well, but I'm keeping it dry because rain is a no-go..

That’s a solid move testing it out before the storms hit, I wouldn’t have thought about filing the plug shell, but it sounds like that made a huge difference. Hopefully, Kia tweaks this for future models. Keeping it dry is definitely a smart move. No one wants to mess with wet electrical gear in a storm.
What about your KIA Niro?? You can find aftermarket V2L adapters from brands like Wallbox or Zappi, just ensure they're compatible with your EV6's system.My EV6 Light didn’t include a V2L adapter, so now I’m curious if there are any cool aftermarket options that’ll do the trick!
