Can I run CPAP on Kia's rear Seat Power outlet during a blackout?

I sleep deep when I'm tired and I'm worried about what to do during a power outage. Has anyone tried using their Kia's rear seat power outlet to run a CPAP machine? Will it work just by plugging it in, or does the car need to be running? Also, is it safe to leave the car running in the garage overnight if that's the only way to power the CPAP?

Have replied to a similar concern here in the forum. You just have to run it into utility mode. You can plug in your device to the 120v before or after activating it. Remember to keep the car unlocked to maintain power.

The first thing to do after a power outage is to check if your CPAP is set to turn back on automatically. That way, it'll start up again once the power comes back on. If it's a long outage and you wake up with no power, you'll need a battery for your CPAP. Those batteries are expensive. I found a better one on Amazon that has 130Wh, 24V DC output, and it's way cheaper at $78.

You can use the rear seat outlet to power a CPAP, but the car usually needs to be running to avoid draining the battery too much. Never leave a running car in a garage overnight, carbon monoxide is a danger!
