My Kia Connect app is driving me absolutely bonkers! It just won't talk to my car unless it's already on or unlocked. That means no remote pre-heating or checking on the car remotely, which is a real pain, especially with the cold weather. It's always been a little unreliable, but it's gotten way worse recently it's completely useless unless I physically unlock the car. Is anyone else experiencing this, especially lately? Any ideas what the problem is or how to fix it?

Have you tried checking Kia’s Connect Troubleshooting website? I highly recommend you check it for additional troubleshooting steps. I hope it helps!
 
Hey! I’ve had some issues with my app too. It might be worth checking if there’s an update for the Kia Connect app or your car’s software. Sometimes a reset of the app or re-pairing the connection can help too. Hopefully, that does the trick
 
The app should totally work without having to physically unlock the car. It could be a Bluetooth issue or something with the connection settings.
