Manual temperature setting instead of auto

hi GUYS new here. My Niro's automatic climate control seems to be turning on by itself, even in cold weather. I've tried adjusting the fan speed and temp settings, but the A/C keeps activating. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

Hello, welcome to the forum.

Ok so typically, to switch to manual climate control, you’d just tweak both the temp and fan settings, which you actually did, right? So it’s kinda weird that it didn’t switch over. Super strange.

You might have the Auto Defog/Defrost option turned on in your climate settings. To double-check, just pop open the Climate screen and peep the boxes on the right sidebar. The A/C kicks in to help dehumidify the air, and without it, your windows are gonna get all foggy on you.
