Mysterious chime in my e-Niro!

Just picked up a 2023 e-Niro and I’m stoked... except for this random chime that goes off like a doorbell for no reason at all. No warning lights, no messages, nada. It’s not the lane departure warning (I turned that off already). Anyone have any idea what’s up with this? Is this a thing?

Was UVO set up before? If yes, you'll need to switch to Kia Connect. If it was already using Connect, try restoring your saved profile. A simple reset might help as well, it can resolve a lot of issues

Uhm before the update, my car had both Kia connect and UVO live, which was kinda confusing at first. Eventually, I got the Kia Connect app working, and everything was fine. But after the update, I lost all Kia Connect live services, and it won’t let me reactivate them. The remote functions are completely gone too. Now, all I can see is battery levels and charging status—pretty useless beyond that.

Could it be because you passed a speed cam?

Speed camera ahead, and the recent alerts for the Average Speed monitoring cameras can be really frustrating
