My Niro EV is just hitting the 2-year mark and I’m already getting these annoying 12V battery warnings. The dealership says it’s because my commute is too short for the battery to charge up properly and they’re telling me to remote start the car a bunch of times a day. Does that sound like a legit fix? I’m kinda worried about the battery's long-term health. Anyone else run into this issue?

Unfortunately, Kia's 12V battery management in these vehicles has been problematic. Think about the features you use and the modes you select. Any app-controlled functions, including heating, can drain the 12V battery but will not charge the main battery until you start the car.
