Hey guys,

Curious about the real world mileage your getting with your Niro EV. I’ve been tracking mine and in colder weather with the heater on, I’m getting about 2.5-3.0 miles/kwh, and in warmer temps, it’s closer to 3.5-4.0 miles/kwh. Most of my driving is city stuff with a few short highway trips here and there.

How's your mileage stacking up? Got any tips for squeezing out more efficiency? Appreciate it!

In my Niro EV, I get around 3.0-3.5 miles/kWh in mixed driving. Preconditioning and using eco mode help boost efficiency in colder weather...

We've owned our 2023 Niro Wave since July 2023. In Alabama's warm climate, we've averaged a fuel economy of 3.5 to 4.2 miles per kWh in city and rural driving, primarily using eco mode and climate control.

I'd like to emphasize the importance of charging etiquette. I once waited 25 minutes at a full charging station while an EV6 driver charged from 92% to 98%, despite having only 175 miles left on their trip. I hope most EV drivers are more considerate and prioritize efficient charging practices. But to each his own. I hope there’s more charging stations.
