I'm stumped with our new Niro EV! I live in a building with underground parking and only have WiFi down there, no cell service. Turns out, my fancy new EV can't connect to WiFi! How am I supposed to check on my car when it's parked at home? This has to be a common issue, right? Any clever workarounds or tips?

Same here. I tried every option in the menu but couldn't connect to the Wi-Fi. Hopefully, there's a solution out there.

It seems like the 2022 e-Niro doesn't have Wi-Fi, or if it does, it's not enabled. That's a bit of a bummer, but it's not a major issue for me.

I live in an area with decent cell service, which is usually enough for the car to connect. But I feel for people with poor cell coverage. They won't be able to use the app to monitor charging or access some features if they're in a dead zone or parked underground.

Hopefully, Kia will add Wi-Fi support with a software update soon.

Yes, it’s a common issue with some EVs not supporting WiFi. You could try a mobile hotspot or a signal booster for your parking area to enable connectivity.
