Newbie here. Is there a way to make the Niro unlock itself when I get out? It's annoying to get out and then realize the door is locked. I always forget to unlock it first.

Just mess around with your settings. One way is by setting your car to auto unlock all the doors when you shift into Park. Or, if you prefer, you can have the doors unlock as soon as you open the driver's side.

All doors should automatically unlock when you shift the car into Park. If this isn't happening, it's likely a warranty issue.

In the meantime, you can manually unlock all doors using these methods:

• Double-press the unlock button on the key fob.
• Double-press the unlock button on the driver's door.
• Open the front passenger door while the car is locked.

It is a settings matter. You can choose to unlock all doors when you shift into Park or to unlock all doors when you turn off the vehicle. Just play around with the settings and pick what you like the most.
