My Niro's running great, but I'm annoyed with the old UVO software. I know it's dead now, but what about Kia Connect? Does it come with the regular updates, or is it a whole separate thing? I've already got the app and was ready to go, but then I realized it might not be that easy. The dealer didn't even mention it. What should I do?

I hear you on the UVO software, it can be frustrating. Yes, updating to Kia Connect will give you better functionality, but be aware that with the Hybrid, there’s not much you can do on it yet. It should come with regular updates, but it might not be as smooth as expected. Since you already have the app, I’d suggest checking with the dealer for more details, as they may have missed providing full info.

It really just depends on your Niro and where you live. If your car has Kia Connect, you should be good to go. It's usually pretty easy to set up. You might have to swing by the dealer if your car's software is a bit outdated. Since you've already got the app, try logging in and see what happens. If it doesn't connect right away, check out Kia's website to see if your car is compatible, or just give their support team a shout. They'll tell you if you need to do anything special.
