what;s this orange light on my dash??

So, there's this strange orange light on my Niro EV dashboard. It turns out that the car battery is charging the small 12-volt battery.

Strangely, the manual makes no mention of it, and the dealer has no idea what it is.

I believe this occurred because I had left the door open for an extended period of time. The interior lights remained on indefinitely; this car does not turn them off automatically, which is annoying!

I'm no expert but from what I read, the orange light probably means the main battery is charging the 12V battery, which happens when the 12V gets low. The interior lights staying on is odd since most cars turn them off automaticaly. Leaving the door open might’ve drained the 12V enough to trigger that. Since the manual and dealer aren't much help, I'd suggest keeping an eye on it and making sure the 12V battery gets fully charged. If it keeps happening, maybe have a tech check it out.
