Hello guys! My service isn't due until May, but I am wondering what to expect for pricing. The service plan covers scheduled maintenance, including parts, labor, and taxes, but things like brake pads, wipers, and tires aren't included. There is no mention of the drive belt or other fluids that may need changing. I am worried that the $450 estimate could end up higher once they add extra costs. Has anyone had similar experiences?

It's tough to give you a definite answer. Check your owner's manual – it might have some clues. Basically, you won't know about extra costs until a mechanic checks your car out. If they find anything that needs repair, they'll tell you.

Yeah, the estimate they gave you is just a base price. I’d also recommend keeping an eye on any wear-and-tear items like wipers and brake pads yourself, so you’re not caught off guard. The extra costs usually depend on what the mechanic finds when they do the inspection. Just be prepared for that!
