My car has a battery drain problem. We figured out it's probably the trunk switch. The battery died a couple of times before Thanksgiving, and we took it to the dealer in December. They said the switch is broken, but the new part won't be here until March! They just disconnected the switch, so now I can't use my trunk. I still have to pay the full lease price, even though the car isn't working right. The dealer said they've seen two other Niros with the same problem last week. It seems like lots of people are having this issue. Has anyone gotten this fixed quickly? Does anyone know where to find this switch? I

Hey! Before just swapping parts, is there a way to actually pinpoint the switch issue? Have they looked into water getting into the switch area, which might be causing those surprise circuits?

Haha, definitely sounds like Kia’s putting together a “Frankenstein” ride!:ROFLMAO: If the OP haven’t called yet, I think that might be the next step to get some clarity.
